We sought Michael’s help to muzzle train our rescue dog, Dusty, as she is required to wear a muzzle for the vet. Her first vaccination with us was fast approaching and, despite doing muzzle training each day, she seemed to be making very little progress. Michael came round and did some muzzle training with her and very quickly identified the reason why she wasn’t making any progress. From there, he developed a plan of action that was completely unique to Dusty and her needs. We dedicated time in to following his advice and the progress Dusty has made is beyond what I thought was imaginable. Michael is very thorough with each visit. He is always clear on the training plan that needs to be followed and he explains the rationale behind his plan and demonstrates all processes involved. Dusty very quickly bonded with Michael and loved his visits. He has such a lovely affinity with dogs. He got to know Dusty and what worked for her very quickly and we completely trust him to make the right decision for her in her training. Although we sought his advice for muzzle training, his help has benefitted Dusty immensely in her everyday routine. We are so grateful to him as we truly could not have got to where we are with her now without his help.
